Born March 15, 1906, in Conkling, Ky., he was the son of George and Mary Jane (Saylor) Allen. He was retired from Hilton Hotel in Cincinnati, Ohio, and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Brookville, Ind.
He is survived by two sisters, Rebecca McGeorge of Batesville and Thelma Morris of Louisville, Ky.; and one brother, Clay Allen, Tyner, Ky. and several nieces and nephews. Nine brothers and sisters preceded him in death.
The Rev. Charles Binkley, minister of the Batesville Baptist Church, will conduct the services at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Meyers Funeral Home, Batesville.
Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Brookville.
Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
