Daughter of Norton Chester and Clara Crowther Henderson, she never married, was a music teacher, lived in Dempseytown, died in Franklin Hospital of arteriosclerotic heart disease, per death certificate 74720, whose informant was Mrs. W. F. Sanford of Dempseytown. Buried Aug 7 1953.

Franklin News-Herald, Tuesday, Aug 4 1953:
Miss Maude C. Henderson, 80, of Dempseytown, died at 5:15 am today in Franklin Hospital after an illness of four months. She was born Feb. 16, 1873 in Parker's Landing, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Norton Chester Henderson.

She lived many years with her sister in Dempseytown.

Surviving are her sister, Mrs. William Gaisford of Dempseytown; a brother, Clifford D. Henderson of Pittsburgh; two nephews, Tilford Richey of Titusville and Forest Henderson of Pittsburgh; and two nieces, Mrs. C. N. Mitchell and Mrs. Ira P. Ware of Oil City.

Services will be at 2 pm Friday at her sister's home in Dempseytown with Dr. G. Mason Cochran of Second Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment will be in Franklin Cemetery.
