John Henley, 95, of Star City, Died Friday at Lincoln Heights Nursing Center in Star City.

He was Born November 4, 1920 in Lincoln County to the Late Josh and Fannie Carter Henley.

He Served in the US Army during World War II in North Africa and Italy and Worked at the CC Camp in Colorado.

He Worked as a Truck Farmer and a Logging Trucker.

He was a Member of Daniel's Chapel Church at Backgate.

Also Preceding him in Death were his Wife, Mary Louise McGehee Henley, whom he Married October 24, 1947; Three Sons, Baby Johnny Henley, Morris Henley, J.B. Henley; One Daughter, Sandra Luker; Three Brothers, Grady Henley, Fred Henley, Dennis Henley; and Five Sisters, LeNora Henley Cogbill, Lottie Henley Beatty, Waidy Henley Earnest, Euris Henley Lee, LaVone Henley Robertson.

Survivors include Two Sons, Rodney Henley; Craig Henley and Wife, Becky; Both of Star City; Three Daughters, Bonnie George of Pine Bluff; Kristy Peyton; Jenny Wynn and Husband, Clay; Both of Star City; One Brother, Josh "June" Henley of Star City; Sixteen Grandchildren; Twenty One Great Grandchildren; and Two Great-Great Grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 P.M., Tuesday at Griffin Funeral Chapel in Star City.
Bro. Craig Henley and Bro. Charles Hoover will Officiate.
Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery.

Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 P.M., Monday at the Funeral Home.
