Della Baldwin was born on 29 May 1891 in Miami, Ottawa, Oklahoma, USA as the seventh child of John Adolphus Baldwin and Delphina Amy Pelkey. She had four known half siblings, Rachel, James Eleazer , Samantha and of John M. Baldwin. She died on 06 Feb 1966 in Nevada, Vernon, Missouri, USA.

When Della was 16, she married of Lewis Brown Wilson Wright, son of of George John Brown Wright and of Mary Alice Babbitt, on 29 Apr 1908 in Miami, Ottawa, Oklahoma, USA. When she was 50, she married William Decalve Dinwiddie after 1942.
