W.C. Dixon Died Thursday Night
Funeral services for W. Clayton Dixon,67,who died at his home near here Thursday night were held at Watermelon Creek Baptist Church at 2:30 o'clock by Rev. Henry C. Hodges.
Burial was in the church cemetery and pallbearers were Roger Sikes, D.J. Yeomans, R.J. Dasher, L.D. Ray, B.G. Mattox, and S.E. Aldridge.
Mr. Dixon, who had been sick for a long while, is survived by his wife, three sons, J.A. Dixon, W.C. Dixon, Jr., and W.H. Dixon of Glennville, four daughters, Mrs. L.R. Yeomans, Mrs. H.W. Yeomans, and Mrs. R. Ray of Reidsville and Mrs. M.M. Mangum of Jacksonville, Fla.; a brother, Claude Dixon of Glennville, and three sisters, Mrs. R. Burke of Dover; Mrs. W.J. Kelley of Savannah, and Mrs. S. Fail of Stilson.
