Katherine D. McClain, 78 of Versailles, widow of Neville McClain, died April 1, 2000. She was a daughter of the late Oscar and Maggie Devers, and was a member of the Midway United Methodist Church. Survivors are a daughter, Ruby Way of Versailles; a son, Thomas Newell McClain of Ohio; a sister, Elizabeth Booth of Versailles; a brother, Theo Devers of Lexington; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A granddaughter, Andrea Way, and a brother, James Devers, are deceased. Services were conducted April 4 at Duell-Clark Funeral Chapel, Versailles. Burial was in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Woodford County.
