Buford C. Little, Sr., 83 died Saturday morning at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center after an extended illness.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm. Monday, from Wright and Ferguson Chapel with burial in the Florence Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Annie Coghlan Little of Florence; two sons, Buford Cecil Little of Florence and Robert Earl Little of Mobile, Ala.; a daughter, Mrs. Pauline Jones of Florence; two sisters, Mrs. Alice Mae Smith and Mrs. Wilma Steen, both of Florence; a brother, Benton Alston of Florence; 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Little, was a native of Florence and lived in Mobile, Ala. for 36 years. He was a retired Civil Service employee of Brookley Field, at Mobile and was a member of the Hickory Ridge Baptist Church.
