Tombstone death date is incorrect based on funeral home records and newspaper date.

The entire town of Bonneville was saddened last Saturday morning when it was announced that Mrs. W. W. Crabb, had died at the North East Mississippi Hospital, where she had been undergoing treatment since last week. Her condition was considered serious from the time she entered the hospital, but physicians and the family felt that there was hopes for her recovery. In fact, that evening before her death Mr. Crabb, the husband, informed us that she was better, and that hopes were held out for her ultimate recovery, but early Saturday morning she rapidly grew worse, until at 4:30 o'clock she passed away.

The body was taken to the home of Mr. Crabb's father and from there was carried to the Mt. Nebo Cemetery where, in the presence of many sorrowing relatives and friends, it was consigned to its final resting place.

The Independent deeply sympathizes with Mr. Crabb, with his children, who are bereft of a dear mother, and with the numerous friends of the deceased and the family.
