Eddie Lewis Stephens, age 73, passed away July 21, 2016.
Eddie was born April 10, 1943 to the late Ores and Bessie Stephens of Russell Springs, Kentucky.
Ed was a Veteran of the US Army. He resided in Manchester with his wife, Linda Stephens, attended Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church, and served on the Board of Directors for the Coffee County Senior Citizen Center. He worked as a pipe fitter and was in the Local Union 572 Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Association. After retiring, he cherished his time with his family. Eddie was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend to all.
Mr. Stephens, was preceded in death by three brothers, Lonnie, Danny, and Athel Stephens.
Visitation was Saturday, July 23, 1-3 p.m. The funeral followed at 3 p.m. at Central Funeral Home, with burial at the Concord Cemetery. Central Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Ed and Kathryn were married in 1962 and divorced in 1967. They had two children, Russell "Rusty" Edward Stephens, born March 28, 1963 and Kathryn "Kathy" Rena Stephens, born December 15, 1965.

1. Tyson Stephens, born December 9, 1984, and Dana Jolliff ( not married) had Gracie Jo Stephens born December 30, 2003 and Olivia Daylin Stephens born July 7, 2005.
2. Sarah Kay Stephens born October 11, 1986, married Jeffrey Lee Martin, Jr, on April 1, 2004. They had Donovan Scott Martin born August 15, 2007 and Corbin Jaymes Martin born January 6, 2010.
3. Brianna Shay Stephens, born June 11, 1990, married Alvaro Sanchez on January 21, 2011. They had daughter a daughter Abby Marie Sanchez, born July 11, 2007.
