Eloise Nish Feted By Grandmother on Twelfth Birthday
Eloise Nish, who with her mother, Mrs. Roy Nish of Inglewood, has been a summer guest the past week at the home of her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. G.W.Rudell, of 472 Seventh street, celebrated her twelfth birthday anniversary with a charming party Saturday afternoon. Though Eloise observes her anniversary on Admission day, Sept. 9, the party was held ahead of time so that her grandmother might be the hostess.
After an afternoon of jolly games the 11 little girls invited for the party were invited to the refreshment table. It was beautifully decorated in delicate pink and yellow. The big cake iced in yellow bore the honoree’s name in pink frosting and the 12 pink candles. Flowers on the table were pretty bouquets of pink asters and yellow zinnias. Pink and yellow bon bon cups in the form of dainty roses alternated at each place. The ice cream, cake, punch and wafers also carried out the pretty color motif.
The little friends invited to celebrate the anniversary with Eloise were those she had known before she moved with her parents to the new home in Inglewood. They were Elaine Seiple (and 10 others).
