James Marion Boyett was born in McAlester, Oklahoma and died in Fresno, California.

Jim was a resident of Oakhurst, California from 1991 to 2005, and a resident of Corcoran, California from 1939 to 1991.

He was president of Boyett Chevrolet, Inc. in Corcoran where he was an automobile dealer for General Motors from 1948 until his retirement.

While he lived in Corcoran, Jim was a member of the Rotary Club of Corcoran and the First United Methodist Church.

In 1945, following his graduation from Corcoran High School, Jim joined the U.S. Navy where he served on the USS McCaffrey.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh Logan and Ava Lee Boyett; Doris Pauline Boyett, his wife of 47 years; and twin sons.

Jim is survived by his daughters, Deborah K. Boyett and Patricia Ava Crable; his son-in-law, Mark Crable; his stepson, Richard Stillwell; his grandchildren, Jonathan Boyett Munro, James Alexander Munro, Edward James Crable, and Analisa Diane Crable; a brother and sister- in-law, Barrie and Una Boyett; and a sister, Lynda Cunningham.

Visitation is being held at Yost and Webb Funeral Chapel on Friday, November 24, 2006, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

A Graveside Service will be held at Grangeville Cemetery in Armona, California, on Saturday, November 25, 2006, at 1:00 p.m.
