MERRITT, Gracie B, 96, of Trilby, went to be with the Lord July 19, 2016. She was born September 19, 1919 in Riverland, FL. Gracie was an active member of New Hope Baptist Church of Trilby. She was a faithful servant of the Lord. Gracie was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Survivors include her daughter, Shirley Papia; grandchildren, Merrell Whitman, Felicia Goodin, and Matthew Papia; and numerous great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 11 am-12 pm, Friday, July 22, at New Hope Baptist Church of Trilby, with a service to follow at 12 pm. She will be laid to rest at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell.
