Earl C. Scheuer, 67, of Mishicot, died early Thursday morning at
Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, after an illness of six months.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Urbanek and
Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and at 10 a.m. at Holy Cross
Catholic Church, Mishicot, the Rev. Joseph Boehm officiating.
Burial will be in the Mishicot Cemetery.
Mr. Scheuer was born Jan. 1, 1894, at Mishicot, son of the late
Nic H. and Coretta Thompson Scheuer. He attended district schools
and married Lillian Schenian Nov. 21, 1916, at Melnik.
They resided at Mishicot where he operated a meat market until
his retirement four years ago. For the past 10 years, he had
been vice president of MacDonald’s Consolidated Homes, Inc., of
Manitowoc. His son-in-law, Robert A. MacDonald, is president.
Survivors include his wife, a son Robert of Mishicot, now operating
the meat market; a daughter, Mrs. Robert A. MacDonald, of Manitowoc;
two sisters, Mrs. Ray Cochenet of Two Rivers, and Mrs. Wendell
Brodigan of Detroit; and four grandchildren.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. Friday at the funeral home where
the rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. by members of the parish.

Miss Lillian Scheniann of this place and Earl Scheuer of Mishicot, were united in marriage at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Schenian Tuesday morning, Nov. 21st. The attending couple was Miss Agnes Schleis and Emil Schenian, both of this place.
After a wedding dance the happy couple departed on a honeymoon trip to Chicago and on their return will make their home at Mishicott. We extend congratulations.
