Arnold was the son of Oran and Lucy Bisson. He grew up in Glen Flora.
Arnie, or "Peanuts," was a cowboy at heart. His family and friends would rarely see him without his Stetson cowboy hat accompanied with a "bigger then the moon" belt buckle, and a huge smile on his face which would light up any room.
After leaving the family farm, he served two years in the Army. Arnie worked his way through various jobs, which included working on the King Ranch, owning Darby Construction Company in Albuquerque, N.M. and a campground/trout farm in Ruidoso Downs, N.M. with his wife Dean.
After retiring, he and his wife moved to Bandera, Texas where they watched many sunsets while rocking in rocking chairs on their back porch.
