Virginia Beach - Brian Glen Day, 39, passed away with his family by his side on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at his home. Brian was born at Barksdale AFB in Louisiana. He graduated from Cooper High School in Abilene, TX and received his BA in English from Angelo State University, San Angelo, TX. He was a claims adjuster for Progressive Insurance for the past 13 years. He was a member of Thalia Lynn Baptist Church. He loved the great outdoors and spent many hours kayaking. He loved camping, painting and journaling.
Brian was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jesse and Esther Hall and Onzalo and Vi Day. He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Angela Day; his two beloved children, Abigail and Lucas Day of VA Beach; his parents, Joe and LaVerne Day of Tabb, VA; his brothers, Mark Day of Tabb, VA and Paul Day of VA Beach; his father-in-law, Felipe Sanchez; mother-in-law, Juanita D. Sanchez and sister-in-law, Joanna Sanchez all of San Antonio, TX.
A Celebration of Brian's Life will take place on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at 2:00pm at Thalia Lynn Baptist Church, VA Beach. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service starting at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family. Arrangements by Weymouth Funeral Home.
