Ollie Mae Parker, 76, of Crossett died Wednesday, November 8, 2006, at the Medical Center of South Arkansas in El Dorado. A lifelong resident of Crossett, she was a homemaker and a member of Davis Memorial Church of God in Christ.


Survivors include her husband of 56 years, George Parker; three sons, Larry Keith, Ronnie Parker and wife Cheryl and Ricky Parker and wife Linda, all of Crossett; five daughters, Debra Parker Moore, Evelyn Parker Tate, Hazel Parker, Judy Parker and LaTekia Parker, all of Crossett; one brother, James Goree of Crossett; three sisters, Almeter Goree, Bobbie Sue Gibbs and Juanita Perkins, all of Crossett; 29 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, George Parker, Jr., and Gregory Parker; one daughter, Shirley Ann Parker; one grandson, Sonwello Lewis; and her parents, Robert and Nanny Sue Stamp Goree.

Funeral services were scheduled for Tuesday, November 14, at 1 p.m. at Davis Memorial Church of God in Christ with Bishop R. E. Matheney officiating. Burial was to follow at Westview Cemetery under the direction of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg. Pallbearers were to be Shawn Keith, Elias Duncan, Jamal Watson and Jermario Tate.
