Jerry A. Dixon, 78, of Solomon, passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2016. He was born in French Camp, California, on March 21, 1938, the son of Lewis and Mildred (Sykes) Dixon. He married Audrey Little on Nov. 9, 1963, in Arkansas City, Kansas. Jerry was a brake operator for Aircraft for 45 years and retired in 2002. Jerry enjoyed playing cards, fishing, square dancing and people watching. His life revolved around his family, especially his grandkids and great grandkids.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Melissa Kay Dixon; and sister, Irene Duncan.

Visitation will be Friday, July 22, 2016 from 4-8 pm, with the family receiving friends from 6-8 pm, at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth St., Salina. Memorial service will be at 2:00 pm, Saturday, July 23, 2016, at Solomon United Methodist Church, 111 N. Walnut St, Solomon, with inurnment to follow in the Highland Cemetery, New Cambria. Memorial contributions may be given to Solomon Senior Center, and left in care of the mortuary.
