Willard Dale Young, 59, Newton Grove, formerly of Raleigh passed away on July 29, 2013 at his home.
Dale was born to Louetta Lee and Wilmer Graham Young on October 1, 1953. Dale demonstrated his faith throughout his lifetime in the way he treated acquaintances, friends, and relatives. Dale was known for being in the right place at the right time to offer his concern and assistance with the most appropriate gestures of kindness.
Dale had an eye for quality, "a good deal" and had an appreciation for the past. He was a devoted son, brother, uncle, and friend who did not hold grudges and forgave easily. His favorite motto was "Worry Kills Faith". He had complete assurance in God and life eternally with Him.
Dale graduated from South Johnston High School in 1973. He worked with Winn-Dixie warehouse of Raleigh and Jacksonville Florida from 1973-1988. He joined Mark and Judy Parrish with Ice Novelties of Coats in 1988 and continued until his illness in December 2012.
Dale is survived by his Mother Louetta Lee Young of Newton Grove, Sister Patricia Lee Young Godwin of Morehead City, Brother Dennis Ray Young and wife Janet of Dunn, Nieces Amy Lynn Young and Mike Edge of Cary, Angela Marie and David Howell of Willow Springs, Nephew Kenneth Ray Young of Dunn, Great nephews Kenneth Ray Young Jr., Ethan Lee Byrd and Oliver Michael Edge, Great nieces Katie and Allie Howell.
