Martha Lee Jones Dobbs was born April 6, 1931, in Grand Saline, Texas, and passed away peacefully with her family by her side on July 18, 2016 in Cedar Hill, Texas. The first born child to Maybelle Glee Demay and Cecil Loyd Jones, she grew up in Oak Cliff and later spent several years living in Palmer and Cedar Hill, Texas. She is preceded in death by her sister, Pat Louise Daniels and her beloved grandson, William Loyd Kirkpatrick. She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Robert Gaston Dobbs; son, Robert Loyd Dobbs and his wife, Karla; daughter, Jacky Lynne Dobbs; brother, Bobby Loyd Jones and his wife, Sue; her four grandchildren, Jeanie Lynne Dobbs Olesky and her husband, Suavek, Elizabeth Ann Dobbs, Robert Louis Kirkpatrick and Angela Lee Kirkpatrick; her two precious great grandchildren, Emily Paige and Lauren Kate Olesky, in addition to several nieces and nephews whom she adored. Funeral services are 10:30am, Saturday, July 23, 2016, at Jaynes Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Wheatland Cemetery, Dallas, TX.
