Mrs. Lillian M. Brackett of Concord, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, May 29, 2003, at the White River Medical Center in Batesville, Arkansas. Born October 2, 1916, in Oklahoma, Mrs. Brackett was 86 years of age. She was the daughter of the late Henry J. and Hattie (Arnold) Bell. A resident of Concord most of her life, Mrs. Brackett was a homemaker and mother. She was a member of the Concord First Baptist Church. Her husband, Melvin E. Brackett, preceded her in death in 1979.

Survivors include: five sons, Lynnie Brackett of Batesville, AR Jefferson Brackett and Ronnie Brackett, both of St. Louis, Missouri Rickey Brackett of California and Shane Hargrove of Concord, AR five daughters, Laverne Blanton of Springfield, Missouri Loretta Hargrove of Concord, AR Margie Foushee of Greers Ferry, AR and Diane Davis and Becky McDillion, both of St. Louis, Missouri twenty-four grandchildren, twenty-nine great grandchildren, and five great, great grandchildren. Mrs. Brackett is also survived by other relatives and her many friends.
