Margaret Virginia Jenny (nee Barron) Mays -- Margaret Virginia Jenny (nee Barron) Mays, 57, of 221 Gale Avenue, Kingsport, Tennessee, died at 11:30 p.m. Thursday, November 27th, 1980 at Holston Valley Community Hospital after an extended illness. Born in Big Stone Gap, Virginia she was a resident of Kingsport, Tennessee for 39 years. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband Hubert Clifford Mays of the home; one daughter, Linda Jane Mays, of the home three sons, Gary Mays and Sammy Gale Mays both of Atlanta, Georgia, and Reverend Steve Allen Mays, Whitmire, South Carolina; four grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. JoAnne (nee Barron) Renfro, Knoxville, Tennessee; one brother, William Nathaniel Gale Barron, Knoxville, Tennessee. Friends may call from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. today, November 29th, 1980 at the funeral home. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. tomorrow, November 30th, 1980 from the Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Glencoe Cemetery in Big Stone Gap, Virginia.
