Funeral services for Lula Mae James, 77, of Belzoni, MS; will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Redeem COGIC, Belzoni, MS.
She died Monday, Dec. 15, 2014, at North Delta Hospice, Southaven, MS.
She is survived by five sons, Everett James, of Chicago, IL; Melvin Whitehead, of Belzoni, MS; James Whitehead, of Jackson, MS; Manuel James, of Horn Lake, MS; and Maurice James, of Lithia Springs, GA; four daughters, Dotsy Ball, of Belzoni, MS; Rachelle Washington, of Olive Branch, MS; Sharon James, of Belzoni, MS; and Octavia James Smith, of Horn Lake, MS; and a brother, Bobby Ray Daniels, of Belzoni, MS.
Visitation will be from noon to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
The body will lie in state from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday at the church.
Elder Revon Ball will officiate.
Burial will be at Humphreys County Memorial Gardens, Belzoni, MS.
Services were under the direction of Smith Funeral Home, Belzoni, MS.
