She is preceded in death by her parents and husband Robert Taylor Turner. Margaret is survived by six daughters, Charlotte Turner of Oak Ridge, Tennessee; Teresa Ellis and Ray Maki of Clarksville; Cindy Wirtz and Karl of Marysville, Ohio; Robin Morgan of Clarksville; Natalie Rine and Jimmy of Virginia Beach, Virginia; and Jennifer Meyers of Clarksville. She is also survived by two sisters, Elizabeth Coulter and Ed and Janet Combs and Don as well as a brother George W. Griffin Jr. and Betty. Margaret is also survived by 9 grandchildren: Megan Ellis, Robert Ellis, Mitchell Wirtz, Caroline Wirtz, Ethan Wirtz, Rachael Rine, River Rine, Dylan Rine and Chelsea Steelman, as well as 3 great grandchildren: Zayden Riordan, Carson Ellis, and Evie Ellis-Shaw.
She was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church and the Gold Star Wives. She was a homemaker and had also worked at Acme Boot Company for several years. Memorial services will be conducted on Saturday December 5, 2015, at 1:00 P.M. at the Chapel of Gateway Funeral Home. Visitation with the family will be for one hour prior to services.
