She was an elementary school teacher for the Allentown School District, teaching at Jefferson Elementary School for 40 years, retiring in 1993. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Emmaus. Hobbies included travel, arts and crafts, and spending time with her family. Jean was a member of the Emmaus Lioness Club, the Lehigh Valley Couturiere Society, and the Pennsylvania Retired Teachers Association.
Survivors: Sons, Philip C. Horlacher and wife Dorothy of Breinigsville, Keith D. Horlacher and wife Denice of New Hope, and Jamie T. Horlacher and wife Jennifer of Pennsburg; Grandchildren, Austin P. Horlacher and Heather N. Horlacher; 2 Grandpups.
