He had served in the Navy during World War II. He married Florence Nyquist, sixty-eight years ago. Jerry and Florence had two children. Preceding him in death were his parents, Frank and Dessi (Ball) Walters, his son, Les Walters, his sisters, Beth Cory and Wilma Pedrow, and brothers-in-law, Wayne Cory, Leonard Pedrow and Carl Nyquist. Graveside services with military honors will be at Hemingford Cemetery on July 22, 2016.
