A visitation will be held for William “Bill” E. Sledd, 70, of Edgewood, at 3:00 PM, Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point, TX.
Bill passed away on July 14, 2016.
William Edward Sledd was born on September 26, 1945, in Kansas City, MO. His parents were Roy and Juanita Sledd. Bill was raised in Parker, Kansas and also attended school there. He married Joyce Sledd in Eustace, TX, on June 11, 2005. They made their home in Edgewood, TX. Bill was a Superintendent for Regent Construction Co. in Ft. Worth, TX. He enjoyed working and spending time with his co-workers. Bill was of the Baptist faith. He loved working with his horses, dogs and being outdoors.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Juanita Sledd from Kansas.
Bill is survived by his wife, Joyce Sledd of Edgewood; son, Jason Sledd and wife, Ashley along with their daughter, Abygail; one daughter, Tina Simmons and husband, Shane and their two children, Ryan and Harlie and a host of relatives and friends.
