Timothy Lawrence Erickson, of New Braunfels, Texas, previously Petaluma, California. passed away on Monday, July 18, 2016 at the age of 67. Timothy was born on November 8, 1948, in Colorado Springs, Colorado to Lawrence and Norma Erickson. He graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Management with a minor in Economics from Sonoma State University in 1981. Timothy served his country with honor by joining the U.S. Navy as a jet mechanic Second Class Petty Officer from March 1968 until April 1986. He received his Airplane Single, Multi Engine Landing Instrument Rating Plane in 1978 and his Commercial Pilot in July 1977. He was also a Vietnam Veteran. Timothy was a mechanic and manager for Sears in San Rafael, California from July 1972 until August 1989. His favorite saying was, "I was thinking". He will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Timothy is survived by his daughter, Dr. Tami Lee Erickson and her husband Craig Keith Collins of Cost, Texas; sister, Jean Suzzanne Payne of Oregon; and brother, Steve Emil Erickson of Washington. A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, July 21, 2016 at 10:45am at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
