Obituary from the Hutchinson News Herald, 8/28/1945:

Frank Parsons

Alden - Frank Parsons, 66, for many years a farmer of this community, living in Wichita the past two years, died from a heart attack at his home Monday.

Surviving are the widow, four daughters, Bertha, wife of Wayne Bunker, 419 William, Hutchinson; Mrs. Marjory Holt and Mrs. Lyda Holt, both Abilene; and Ruth, at home; and six sons, T-Sgt. Garnet, with the army air force in England, now home on furlough; Pfc. Kent, with the army in Italy; Sgt. Clayton with the air corps in Germany, whose wife resides in Hutchinson, 1308 East Seventh, and GIlbert, of Alden.

The funeral will be Wednesday, 2 p.m. at the Porter mortuary chapel, Sterling, burial in Sterling cemetery.
