Funeral services for Jerry Wayne “Pearl” Aaron, 56, of Hanceville will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at 10 am at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Harce Swann officiating; with interment in Cold Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Aaron passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at his residence. He was a retired mine superintendant for Black Warrior Mining.

Hanceville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George E. and Vonie Speegle Aaron and a brother, Randy.

He is survived by two sons, Jared (Katheryn) Aaron and Garrick (Beth) Wissinger; two daughters, Desiree (Aaron) Washburn and Tanya (David ) Godbee; five grandchildren, Gabriel and Gavin Washburn, Jessie and Jerrie Sue Godbee, and Naomi Wissinger; three sisters, Beverly (Wayne) Hollis, June (Bernard) Williams and Deb (Greg) Swann; four brothers, Sam Aaron, Robert Aaron, Joe Aaron and Roy (Donna) Aaron, the mother of his children, Debbie Aaron Gillis; and a host of friends, neighbors and miner co-workers.
