She was born in Minneapolis, Minn., grew up in Mason City, Iowa, and raised her family in Pleasant Valley, Iowa. She has resided in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, for the last seven years

Linda Jane (Morrison) Huber was born to Nancy Jane (Edgar) Morrison and Glen Raymond Morrison Sr. on Aug. 30, 1940. She reflected fondly on her early years in Mason City and loved being a counselor at the Girl Scout camp in Clear Lake.
Linda attended the University of Iowa, where she was a proud member of the Chi Omega Sorority. She met Phillip Matthew Huber in Iowa City, and married him on June 11, 1961, in Mason City. Linda was the proudest and best mother to her five children.
After her children were grown, she started her professional career of 20 years with the Iowa Department of Human Services in Scott County. She was a loyal member of the PEO sisterhood and St. Mark's Methodist Church. Linda enjoyed playing bells for the United Methodist Church of Mt. Vernon
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Jane and Glenn Morrison; husband, Phillip Huber; and brother, Glenn R. Morrison Jr.
Linda is survived by son, Matthew Huber; daughter, Nancy Huber; son, Stephen Huber; son, John Huber; her brothers, Robert Morrison and Mark Morrison; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family strongly recommends memorials to the following trust established for the support of the children of Linda's daughter, Ingrid Anne (Huber) Livingston: The Carly Jo and Sophia Life Trust. Donations accepted at any Wells Fargo bank location.
