Waynesville - Della Mae Beasley, 92, of Crawford Road, died Saturday, Nov. 18, 2006, at Haywood Regional Medical Center.

She was the daughter of the late Chancy Justice and Nora Clark Justice, and was a native and lifelong resident of Haywood County. Her life was her family and her daily reading of her Bible. She was a member of Crabtree Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Farady Beasley, who died in 1972.

Mrs. Beasley is survived by her son, M.L. Beasley and his wife, Josephine, of Waynesville; five grandchildren, Michael Beasley of Waynesville, Malcom Beasley and his wife, Debbie, also of Waynesville, Timothy Beasley and his wife, Janet, of Statesville, Phillip Beasley and his friend, Linda Realey, of Waynesville, and Becky Kirkpatrick of Waynesville; eight great-grandchildren, Marc Adam Beasley and his wife, Alicia, of Asheville, Michael, Chance and Fulton Beasley of Waynesville, Cristen Beasley of Statesville, Melanie Beasley of Hawaii, and Samantha and Jennifer Beasley of Waynesville; and great-great-granddaughter, Anniston Beasley of Asheville.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Crabtree Baptist Church with the Revs. Max Smith and Dennis Smith officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Panther Creek Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be J.R. Snow, Vergil Mathews, Neal Justice, Brad Ruff, Junior Parks and Tim Kelley. Honorary pallbearers will be the ladies of her Sunday school class.
