Pearl M. Pillers, 101, the oldest member of Monroeville United Methodist Church, died at 7:15 a.m. Tuesday at Byron Health Center, where she had been a resident 11 years. A native of Convoy, Ohio, Mrs. Pillers had lived in Monroeville most of her life. She was the widow of Lee H., who died in 1963.
Surviving are a son, Thomas B., of Monroeville; and a daughter, Evelyn Scott, of Franklin.
Services are at 11 a.m. Thursday at Monroeville United Methodist Church, with calling from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Marquart & Jacobs Funeral Home, Monroeville, and hour before the services at the church. A memorial service by Chapter 205 of the order of the Eastern Star will be at 6:30 p.m. today in the funeral home. Burial will be in Monroeville Memorial Cemetery. Preferred memorial are gifts to the church.
