HELPER- Our loving mother, grandmother, and friend, Fairis Kathleen Nay Tallerico, age 85, passed away Nov. 26, 2006 in Price. She was born March 7, 1921 in Centerfield, Utah to George Allen and Laura Lydia Hansen Nay.
Married John Tallerico, Dec. 10, 1937 in Wellington, Utah; he died Jan. 21, 2000.
Fairis was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was a longtime resident of Castle Gate prior to moving to Helper. Mom enjoyed painting and crocheting. She will be dearly missed by her family and a community of friends.
Survived by her four sons, John R. (Leslie) Tallerico, Roger Tallerico, both of Helper, Roland (Becky) Tallerico, Roy Dean Tallerico, both of Price; two sisters, Viona (Rex) Henderson, Spanish Fork, Dawna Carey, Portland, Ore.; 14 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and many loving nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by infant daughters, Kathleen and Laurene; infant son, Ray Dell; granddaughters, Michele Marie Tallerico Hamner and Traci Tallerico; brothers and sisters, Leila Sillitoe, Lola Oldroyd, Mary Nielson, Fawn Dola Carroll, Milo Nay, George Nay, Doyle Nay, Nelli Burrows.
Funeral service will be held Thurs., Nov. 30, 2006, 10 a.m. at Mitchell Funeral Home. Family will be at Mitchell's Thursday one hour prior to service. Interment, Mt. View Cemetery, Helper.
