Mrs. Lillie Payne, 67, of Prosperity, died at her home at 2:50 a. m. today after a two week illness. Born March 5, 1896, at White Oak, she was a daughter of the late Ed and Rosie Kelly. ': She was a member of The Holiness Church of God. Survivors include her husband, Kenneth E.; two sons, Sherman, with the U. S. Army in Virginia and Lawrence Rhodes, Columbus, Ohio; two daughters, Mrs. Lora Sadler, Glen White and Mrs. Lorraine., Glenn, Dallas, Texas; a brother, James Kelly, Fayetteville; a half-brother, Miles Adkins, Old Eccles Road; two sisters, Mrs. Rhoda Berry, Fayetteville, and Mrs. Allie Settle,Bradley; she had 18 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
