Immigrated to Canada with his family in 1903 and farmed in the Hanley area of Saskatchewan.
He married Adeline Karst in 1924 and lived and worked as an electrician in Saskatoon for a few years.
Moved to the Avonlea district in 1936 and farmed there until 1940 when they moved to the Hawarden district.
Henry farmed until 1952 when they moved into the village of Hawarden and started an electrical business. He operated this until retiring in 1965.
After Adeline's death Henry disposed of his house and belongings and moved to the Golden Acres Housing Units in Outlook, Saskatchewan.
Henry and Adeline had three children - one son and twin daughters.
