Robert “Keith” Boner, age 88, passed away Monday, July 18, 2016 at El Dorado Manor in Trenton.
On June 7, 1928 Keith was born to Robert John and Hattie Laura (Middleton) Boner in McCook. He graduated from Red Willow High School.
On June 24, 1950 he married Norma Jean Koetter. To this union three children were born.
Keith was a lifetime farmer, and loved being on the farm. He enjoyed putting up his hay. He took pride in his livestock and enjoyed all of his animals. He was a gardener, and enjoyed planting flowers and watermelon. When he was able to take a break, you could find him welding or tinkering in his shop.
Survivors include his wife, Norma Jean Boner of McCook; sons, Robert Boner and wife, Linda of Indianola; daughters, Linda McConnell and husband, Scott and Sharon Bedore and husband Joel all of McCook; eight grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one granddaughter; brother, Gerald Boner; and sisters, Lucille Hay and Bonnie Premer.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at Carpenter Breland Funeral Home. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Carpenter Breland Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
