Greenwood SC – William Jason Haulbrook, 54, died Saturday [June 30, 1973] of an apparent heart attack. Born in Jefferson GA, he was a son of the late Elbert and Nancy Phillips Haulbrook. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Myrtle Quarles Haulbrook; three daughters, Misses Mary Ellen and Betsy Malinda Haulbrook of the home and Mrs. Carolyn Trammell of Liberty; a son, Raymond Haulbrook of Liberty; a step-daughter, Mrs. Jean Boyd of McCormick; five sisters, Mrs. Sallie Compton and Mrs. Nettie Nichols of West Union, Mrs. Della Maxey of Cateechee, Mrs. Nora Kelley of Walhalla and Mrs. Grace Gallant of Columbia; and two brothers, The Rev. J. M. Haulbrook of Westminister and Lawrence Haulbrook of Greenwood. Burial in Greenwood Memorial Gardens. Harley Funeral Home. The State, Sunday, July 1, 1973.
