Martha Cruz Adame, age 72, of Brady, Texas passed away Sunday, July 17, 2016 at her residence in Brady.
She was born July 3, 1944 in Eden, Texas to Mateo Cruz Sr. & Soila (Cordero) Cruz. She married Mel Adame Jr. on December 14, 1963 in Brady.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses Church. She has lived in Brady most of her life. She enjoyed cooking and baking.
Funeral services for Martha Cruz Adame will be held at 10:00am Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at Leatherwood Memorial Chapels in Brady with Kenneth Brueggman officiating. Graveside services will be at 2:00pm Wednesday at the Eden Cemetery in Eden. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Leatherwood Memorial Chapels in Brady.
Pallbearers will be Ruben Cruz Jr., Victor Garcia Jr., Severo Soto Jr., Eric Ramirez, Henry Adame and George Ramirez. Honorary Pallbearers will be George Adame, Carlos Cruz, Victor Cruz Jr., Israel Adame & Ralph Adame.
Martha is survived by her husband Mel Adame Jr. of Brady; sons Robert Adame and wife Deborah of Grand Prairie and Mel Adame III of Brady; daughter Veronica Mireles of Brady; brother Mateo Cruz Jr. of San Angelo; sisters Beatrice Soto and husband Severo Sr. of San Angelo and Celia Gonzales and husband Gonzalo Sr. of San Angelo; grandchildren Henry Adame, Marisa Adame, Andrea Valdez and husband Christopher, Julia Mireles, Brianna Guerrero, Jonathon Guerrero, Mathew Guerrero, Jacob Sanchez and Cresencia Adame.
Martha was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Victor Cruz Sr., Ruben Cruz Sr. and Alex Cruz; sister Mary Ramirez and grandson-in-law Johnny Soto Jr.
