Edna Young Knight, 91, of Beaumont, went Home Monday, April 25, 2016, at Harbor Hospice of Beaumont. She was born on January 15, 1925, in Tippo, Mississippi, to Daisy Lee Coleman Logan and Harvey Gordon Logan. Edna had been a longtime resident of Beaumont and North End Baptist Church. She was a retired manager from S&H Green Stamp Redemption Center. Edna was a long term volunteer with the Beaumont Police Department at Parkdale Mall. She is survived by her sons, Dennis Young and his wife, Janis, of Spring Branch and Micky Young and his wife, Claudia, of Hobbs, New Mexico; grandchildren, Chris Young; Jonathan Young and his wife, Janelle; Lauren Stuart and her husband, Brandon; Meghann Marchello; and Jacob Young and his wife, Shannon; great-grandchildren, Anesley Young, Skylar Young, Ryder Marchello, Micky Marchello, and Cora Young; brothers, Gordon Logan, Dean Logan, Larry Logan and Jerry Logan; and sister, Yvonne Hitt. Edna is preceded in death by her husbands, Aubrey C. Young and Arthur Knight; parents, Daisy Lee and Harvey Logan; and brother, Harvey Logan, Jr. A gathering of Mrs. Knight's family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, April 28, 2016, at Broussard's, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her graveside service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 29, 2016, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 4955 Pine Street, Beaumont.
