Mrs. Julie Denise Johnston, age 61 of Griffin, passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at Brightmoor Hospice.
Mrs. Johnston was born September 11, 1954 in Detroit, MI but was raised in Streetsboro, OH. She loved her family especially spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed being outdoors and visiting the mountain. She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Buckley.
Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Jeffrey Johnston; daughter, Tracy Watts of Saltsburg, PA; sons, Jeffrey Johnston, Jr. of Griffin and Joseph Johnston of Griffin; 5 grandchildren; sister, Kay Head (Ron) of Strongsville, OH and mother, Marian Holt of Strongsville, OH. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services for Mrs. Julie Denise Johnston will be held Saturday, July 16, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home. Minister Randy Kea will officiate. Burial will follow in Westwood Gardens. Friends may visit the family on Saturday from 2:00 p.m. until the service hour.
