Richard Joseph Roche, 51, husband of Diana J. (Dukeshire) Roche, passed away on Monday, February 22nd.
Born in Haverhill, he was the son of Robert A. and Mary E. (Lemeiux) Roche of Haverhill. Raised and educated in Haverhill, he was a graduate of Haverhill High School, Class of 1983. He loved football and was an avid sports fan, especially the New England Patriots. At the start of his career he worked for Frank O’Rourke Warehousing in Boston and upon purchasing the company he relocated to the Ward Hill Industrial Park in Haverhill doing business as RWG Logistics. While not having children of his own he had a special bond with all of his nieces and nephews and family members.

In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by his siblings, Robert P. Roche and his wife Laura of Haverhill; Daniel T. Roche of Bradford; John M. Roche and his wife Ellen of Haverhill; Laureen M. Opolski and her husband John of Haverhill; Kathleen M. Clark and her husband Thomas of Bradford; James F. Roche and his wife Holly of Bradford; Mary E. O’Neil and her husband Colin of Haverhill and Thomas E. Roche and his partner Nancy Banatt of Weymouth; loving nieces and nephews Amanda, Shannon, Bobby, Godson John Michael, Charlie, Catherine, Stefan, Ian, Maggie, Evan, Meghan, Matthew, Molly, Shain, Seamus, Patrick, Colin, Kathleen, Phelan and Thomas; his aunt, Eileen C. Roche of Hampstead, NH. He was predeceased by his nephews Connor, Edward and Christopher; his aunt and uncle Donna Maria Walsh and Albert V. Lemieux.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Sunday, February 28 from 2:00PM until 6:00PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill. Funeral services will begin on Monday morning at 10:00AM from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00AM at St. James Church, Winter Street, Haverhill.
