Judy L. Dixon age 76 of Girard, PA died quietly at home with her family at her side on Monday, July 18, 2016. She was born in Hooversville, PA on February 23, 1940 a daughter of the late Robert and Doris Mishler Pugh. She was a student at Forbes High School in Stoystown, PA. then worked for many years as a spray painter for Ervite. In retirement Judy enjoyed reading, keeping up with the latest in computer innovations, going to the casino, cheering for the Cleveland Browns and more than anything, enjoying her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren along with her two “fur babies”, Gabby and Ginger.

In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Edminster, sister, Sally Rigo, brother, Terry Pugh, sister, Miriam Johnson and sister, Candy Oakes.

Along with her husband Donnie she leaves five children; Robert Dixon (Cindy) of Girard, PA, Terri Ross (David) of Sanborn, NY, Lucinda Becker (Peter) of Niagara Falls, NY, Donnie Dixon (Wendy) of Somerset, PA and Marlene Dean (Deitrich) of Killian, TX. 19 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren also remain along with her sister, Bonnie Oakes of Berlin, PA and many friends who will miss her dearly.

Friends may call at the Burton Westlake Funeral Home 3801 West 26th Street (at Powell Avenue) Erie, PA 16506 on Thursday from 2:00 pm till 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm till 8:00 pm. There will also be a time of calling on Friday at Laurel Highlands Church of Christ, 221 Dunmyer Rd. Stoystown, PA 15563 from 11:00 am till the time of services there at 1:00 pm with Evangelist Robert Long officiating. Burial in Somerset County Memorial Park Cemetery.
