PARRISH, Jean H., age 82, passed away peacefully at home Saturday, January 25, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard M. Parrish Sr.; and her beloved grandson, Jacob. She is survived by her five children, Dorothy Lohr (Philip), Alan Hollins, Kevin Hollins, Kimberly Moneymaker (Brian), Richard M. Parrish Jr. (Kelly); six grandchildren, Shawn, Lucien, Brent, Nathan, Lauren and Camille; brother, Lloyd G. Hale (Glennette); sister, Lorna Fuentes (Chris); many nieces, nephews and devoted friends. The family wishes to give heart-felt thanks to Hospice of Virginia for their support. The family will receive friends Thursday, January 30, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Bliley's - Staples Mill, 8510 Staples Mill Rd., where a funeral service will be held 12 noon Friday, January 31. Interment to follow at Greenwood Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Patterson Avenue Seventh-day Adventist Church, 3901 Patterson Ave., Richmond, Va. 23221.
