Catherine McCool was born on December 27th 1931 in Cedartown, GA. She was the last of her 8 siblings alive. She was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on March 15th 1962. Catherine worked hard as a widow to raise her children as Jehovah Witnesses. She loved the ministry and was a zealous proclaimer of the good news of God’s kingdom. Catherine started pioneering March 1st 1965 and never stopped preaching. Catherine pioneered in many places. She had the privilege in preaching the Cabrini-Green Homes in Chicago, Illinois and then she and her family moved to Dixon Tennessee where they served as need greaters. Catherine later moved to Rochester, New York to be close to her daughter, Jan who married Jack Dukes. She moved one last time to High Point, North Carolina. Through the years Catherine assisted numerous ones gain Bible knowledge, this is what gave Catherine the greatest joy in life. Everyone that came to know her will tell you she didn’t put up with any “Foolishness” but she was very loving and caring person.

Catherine leaves behind her children: Jan Dukes of High Point, NC, Maggie Moorehead of Chicago,IL, George McCool and his wife Julie McCool of Rochester, NY, Dwight McCool of High Point, NC, and Tony McCool of High Point, NC. Grandchildren: Walter Rhim, Monique Dukes, Carmela McCool, Lashonda Dukes, Curtis McCool, Tashonta McCool. Great Grandchildren: Octavia Rhim, DeQuan Rhim, Armani Rhim, and Jialiyah Dukes. She also leave behind many nieces and nephews and close friends that became family.
