She is survived by her husband Richard, her brother Martin "Buzz" Moran; her sister Mary Moran; her brother Michael Moran and his wife Mary Beth; niece Rebecca Moran; nephews Thomas Moran, Andrew Moran, and Garth Moran and family, and Thomas' wife Kristin Burnham; as well as many loving cousins and a large circle of friends.
Kathleen was a graduate of Leominster High School and of Simmons College and an accomplished elementary school teacher, teaching in Ayer and Boxborough. She then worked in women's retail for several years at Ruth Lee's in Leominster. Kathleen was an active volunteer and gave of her time for many years as a volunteer for Red Cross blood drives. She devoted much time and energy to elder care within her family and for friends. She was a generous and giving person who always seemed to know what to do to help when help was needed and she will be missed by all who knew her. Special appreciation is given to all the staff of Leominster Hospital and of HealthAlliance Hospice Care.
A memorial mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 16, 2016 in St. Leo's Church, 128 Main St. Leominster. There are no calling hours.
