Melissa R. Fawcett-Cowan, 44, of Washington, died Thrusday, July 14, 2016 at her residence.
Melissa was born April 25, 1972 in Parkeraburg, WV to Steve and Linda {Emrick} Fawcett.
She married Charles Cowan on April 16, 2011; he passed away on September 1, 2011.
Melissa graduated from Parkersburg South High School. She enjoyed NASCAR.
Melissa will be deeply missed by her daughter Emily Fawcett, parents Steve and Linda Fawcett, maternal grandmother Geraldine Emrick.
Melissa was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather Robert Emrick, paternal grandparents Walter Fawcett and Corlenne Fawcett White
Visitation will be Thursday, July 21, 2016 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Parkersburg. Graveside services will be Friday, July 22, 2016 at 11 at the funeral home with Evangelist David Newberry officiating. Interment will be at Sunset Memory Gardens.
