Sandra “Tootie” Wilkerson Lindsey 64 of Glasgow died Sunday, July 17, 2016 at NHC Healthcare in Glasgow. She was born in Glasgow, the daughter of the late Finis Wilkerson and Lou Birdia Carver Wilkerson. Ms. Wilkerson was an employee of T. J. Samson Community Hospital for 36 years and was a member of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church at Austin.
She is survived by 4 brothers, James Hugh Wilkerson of Glasgow, Orville Wilkerson (Joyce) of Glasgow, Donald Wilkerson (Wanda) of Austin and Michael Wilkerson (Maggie) of Lawrenceburg, KY; 3 sisters Lou Jean Jewell (Harry) of Austin, Evelyn Billingsley (Ray) of Glasgow and Janet Groce (Bobby) of Austin and a sister-in-law Sandra Wilkerson of Austin. Seventeen nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Clifton Wilkerson and a sister-in-law Betty Jean Wilkerson.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, July 20th at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 3pm Tuesday.
