Oakland: Henry Stephen Davis, 84, of Route 1, Terra Alta, died yesterday at his home.
Born in Summers, W.VA., he was the son of the late Isiah and Dirianda (Sutton) Davis.
He was a retired employee of Camp Minnetoska and Camp Whiteborn.
Surviving are his widow, Hattie (Auwaeter) Davis; three daughters, Mrs. Bertha Sanders and Mrs. Hazel Phillipi, both of RD 1, Oakland, and Mrs. Freda Haught, Akron, Ohio; two sons, Claudis B. Davis, Lake City, Fla., and Edwin Gyle Davis, RD 1, Oakland; two sisters, Mrs. Viola Hodge, Boulder, Colo., and Mrs. Dale Davis, Charlotte, N.C.;a brother, Caris Davis, Bridgeport, W.VA.; a step-daughter, Mrs. Catherine Zoellers, Wellsville, Ohio; a step-son, Willard Schukert, East Liverpool, Ohio; 30 grandchildren; and 22 great grandchildren.
The body is at the Minnich Funeral Home where friends will be received today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
A service will be conducted there at 2 p.m. tomorrow by Rev. James F. Remley and interment will be in Garrett County Memorial Gardens
