FRANCES RIHA
Mrs. Frances Riha, 79, died Thursday in Hamilton Memorial Home, Two Rivers.
Funeral services will be 10:30 am Saturday in United Methodist Church, Two
Rivers. The Rev. Melvin Henrichs will officiate and burial will be in Forest
View Cemetery Two Rivers.
Mrs. Riha was born February 14, 1899 in Chicago, Ill., daughter of the late
Edward and Bessie Shedivy Schiman. She was married to Charles Riha in 1920
in Manitowoc. He preceded her in death September 25, 1962. She was a member
of the VFW Auxiliary, Homemakers and Senior Citizens.
Survivors include a son, Joseph Riha of Two Rivers; a daughter, Mrs. Richard
(Marcelle) Hammer of Minneapolis, Minn.; two brothers, Edward and Charles
Schiman of Two Rivers; a sister, Mrs. Elsie Yelmene of Neenah; six grandchildren,
William G. Hammer, Mrs. Jennifer Griffith of Minneapolis, Minn., Gary, Linda,
JoAnn Riha of Two Rivers and Wayne Riha of Manitowoc; two great grandchildren,
Jason Riha of Manitowoc and Thomas Griffith of Minneapolis, Minn.
Friends may call in Klein & Stangel Inc. Funeral Home after 5 o'clock this
Friday evening. Senior Citizens will meet at 6 o'clock.
