Born on October 21, 1952, he was the son of the late Clarence and Essie Dell Gandy Mixon. Chuck as he was known attended local schools and was a retiree from the city of Niagara Falls waste water treatment plant after 25 years of service.
Surviving is one son Charles Griffith and he was a father of two daughters Cliche Griffith and Wanda Humphrey.
Two brothers Johnny (Rose) Mixon and Harvey Mixon; one sister, Christine Kennedy; longtime companion, Peggy Griffith; three granddaughters and a host of other relatives. He was predeceased by one sister, Jeannie Mixon.
